About Edward Merrin

Edward Merrin is a 25 year-old painter, and photo-documentarian. He spends most of his days as a “lonewolf” artist in Pajaro Dunes. When he is not working, he is usually doing something Japanese related– watching anime films, reading books on Samurai codes and Japanese fashion, eating sushi, studying Japanese… As you can tell, Edward Merrin is kind of a fanatic of all things Japanese– mainly of the Harajuku culture. He really admires the Japanese photographer, Shoichi Aoki. Him putting Harajuki culture on the map shows he’s a man of vision and great taste.

Beyond all things Japanese related, Edward Merrin is known by his peers to be a prolific and independent artist. Over the years, he has grown to be an exceptional write as well. He is currently working on a novel and working as a freelance photographer. He recently discovered his deep interest for fashion as he started viewing it as a form of art. He continues to learn more about it as he photographs this form of art. With fashion, Edward Merrin feels that he must learn a great deal of it since he plans on being a fashion photographer. He won’t stop at nothing until he reaches his goal as a professional. But for now, Edward Merrin will lives his days through a bohemian lifestyle where he spends countless hours working on his potential masterpiece while receiving funding from grants and various “benefactors.”
