Here’s something I haven’t visited for a while– Gyaru Gals. I recently found this on youtube, and I found it quite interesting… It explores gyaru subculture and Japanese fashion over all. Check it out, and let me know what you think.

The updated Manba look is a more recent version o the Yamamba. The Manba gals tend to keep their makeup more powdery and blended more smoothly. The makeup is worn more softly. As for clothes, they’re a lot less beachy. The brands: Alba Rosa, Cocolulu, and fairly non-beach related clothing are often worn.

The Banba look is known to be very rock starish. These girls tend to rock fishnets, bright colored clothes and accessories, and stiletto boots. As for the hair, they tend to tease the hell out of it, making the Banba hairstyle look like bee hives.
Another kind of Gyaru Gal is the B-Gyaru. Like the Amura Girls, the B-Gyaru look is music based. But instead of J-Pop, the B-Gyaru girls model their looks after popular Black American R&B stars.
